第二，成圣是一个过程，不是一个开关。保罗在信主多年后仍然说：「立志为善由得我，只是行出来由不得我」（罗7:18）。如果使徒保罗都承认自己在挣扎，我们怎能期望自己信了就瞬间完美？改变是真实的，但常常是缓慢的、不知不觉的。
第三，也许你需要的不是「更努力」，而是真正明白福音。很多人以为信耶稣就是「努力做好人+每周去教会」，那当然会疲惫和失望。福音的核心是：你做不到，但基督替你做了。当你真正明白这一点，改变是由内而外、由恩典驱动的，不是靠意志力。

Second, sanctification is a process, not a switch. Paul, years after conversion, still said: 'I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out' (Rom 7:18). If the apostle Paul admitted struggling, how can we expect instant perfection? Change is real but often slow and imperceptible.
Third, perhaps you need not 'try harder' but truly understand the gospel. Many think faith means 'trying to be good + attending church weekly' — naturally leading to exhaustion and disappointment. The gospel's core is: you can't, but Christ did. When you truly grasp this, change flows from within, driven by grace, not willpower.
Fourth, faith needs community. A coal separated from the fire quickly dies. 'Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some' (Heb 10:25). If you 'tried' alone without church support or fellowship, faith is hard to sustain.
Fifth, don't equate one bad church experience with Christianity itself. Perhaps that church's teaching was flawed, or the Christians you met disappointed you. But Christ is not Christians. I ask you to give God another chance — not that church, but God Himself. Open a Gospel and read what Jesus actually said and did.
