濒死体验（NDE）近年来引起了很大关注。一些人报告在临床死亡后看到光隧道、已故亲人、甚至上帝。基督徒该怎么看？
第一，承认这些体验是真实的——对经历者来说。这些人确实经历了某些事情，不应该被轻率地否定。但真实的体验不等于对体验的正确解读。
第二，濒死体验不能作为死后生命的确定证据。因为：经历者并没有真正死亡（否则就不会回来讲述）；大脑在缺氧状态下会产生各种幻觉和异常体验；不同文化背景的人报告的NDE内容差异很大（印度教徒看到印度教的神，基督徒看到耶稣），说明文化期望对体验有很大影响。

Near-death experiences (NDEs) have drawn much attention. Some report seeing tunnels of light, deceased relatives, or even God after clinical death. How should Christians respond?
First, acknowledge these experiences are real to the experiencers. They genuinely experienced something and shouldn't be dismissed. But real experiences don't equal correct interpretations.
Second, NDEs cannot serve as definitive proof of afterlife. Experiencers didn't truly die (otherwise they couldn't return); oxygen-deprived brains produce hallucinations and anomalous experiences; NDEs vary greatly across cultures (Hindus see Hindu deities, Christians see Jesus), showing cultural expectations heavily influence the experience.
Third, spiritual factors cannot be ruled out. Scripture warns Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Cor 11:14). Seemingly beautiful spiritual experiences may be deceptive. This is why personal experience cannot be the standard of truth.
Fourth, and most important: we don't need NDEs to know there's life after death. Scripture clearly reveals: after death, souls are either with the Lord (Phil 1:23) or in Hades awaiting judgment (Luke 16:22-23); at the end, bodily resurrection, final judgment, believers enter the new creation, unbelievers face eternal punishment.
Our faith rests not on NDEs but on God's Word and Christ's resurrection. Christ's resurrection wasn't an NDE: He truly died, truly rose, with over 500 witnesses (1 Cor 15:6). This is the ultimate proof of life after death.
